Buy-Side and Sell-Side M&A

Contract Negotiations
With more than 24 years of experience, the NorthernLights Advisory Services consultants negotiate contract terms and conditions that provide for the specific services required by the client and at the best prices. Our consultants have also negotiated revenue generating contracts, including oil & gas contracts, power sales contracts, and asset sales agreements with a focus on maximizing revenues for the client. We negotiate terms that ensure vendors address the companies specific issues and long term objectives.
Interim Management
The consultants at NorthernLights Advisory Services have served in executive and senior management roles for many companies within the renewable energy, oil and gas, and utilities industries. NorthernLights Advisory Services can serve in an executive role for the short-term in a transition management role or serve for a longer period in an interim management role. We can also serve on a long-term basis if the client is interested in having us carry on the executive management roles over a longer period.

Existing Company Assessment
NorthernLights Advisory Services will perform a detailed due diligence of each company and work with the current management team to explore opportunities to cut costs and enhance revenues. Once the opportunities are identified, NorthernLights Advisory Services will work with the management team to develop a budget to be approved by company Executives and then develop a plan to execute on that budget. NorthernLights Advisory Services will provide ongoing monitoring services to ensure that budgets are maintained and the strategic plan is executed properly.
Risk Management
The consultants at NorthernLights Advisory Services have the capability to assess whether risks faced by a company are manageable or need to be mitigated. We assist clients in understanding the various types of risk and then develop strategies and implementation plans to minimize those risks.
