NorthernLights Advisory Services is a 100% employee-owned technical advisory firm. We are not a single-principal practice.

The firm is staffed by a core group of principals and a bench of senior specialists who support Owner’s Engineering and Independent Engineering assignments across solar, storage, wind, conventional generation, and transmission. Work is staffed by technology and by counterparty—developer, owner, lender, or tax-equity investor—not by a single individual.

Who staffs the work

The practice includes:

This is a multi-disciplinary bench. A typical financed project is covered by multiple specialists.

How we staff an assignment

  1. A principal is accountable for the engagement.

  2. Specialists are assigned by technology and issue (energy yield, BESS, civil, electrical, environmental, O&M, EPC).

  3. Reports are internally reviewed before they go to the client or lender.

  4. Named team members and full credentials are issued under confidentiality for that transaction.

We do not publish a public staff directory. That is consistent with how independent engineering practices work: the website describes capacity; the data room names the team.
